Where is the sticker?

On the driver door jamb (the centre pillar), sometimes on the edge of the door itself, in the glove box or inside the fuel door.

The photo failed

Shoot straight at the sticker with the whole table inside the frame, with flash if it is dark. After two failures the app offers to pick the model from the list.

Hot or cold?

The number on the sticker is for cold tires (parked at least three hours). If you have just been driving, the "tires are hot" switch adds the usual correction.

Is the app free?

Yes, entirely. One small banner on the home screen covers part of the running costs.
